Today I saw the doctor and found out that I failed my 1 hour glucose challenge. That means I qualify :) to take the 3 hour glucose test where I have to drink twice as much sweet stuff and had have 4 blood draws over 3 hours, after fasting, of course. Lovely. I'm at higher risk because of age and having multiples. Hopefully, I won't have it. But, I wouldn't be surprised if I do. I already had a high normal blood glucose level before we got pregnant....
I also asked the Dr., since the babies are about 2 pounds and we want them to be about 4-5, would I get to be twice the size I am now. She laughed and asked if I really wanted to know. When I told her we did, she said "YES". AGGGGHHH
It's going to be a long 9 weeks!!
