I'm almost finished with my 16th week. Babies weigh about 3.8 oz each and are about 4.8 inches long (length of an avocado or small banana!). That means I have about 3/4 lb of baby in me!
I'm starting to feel a little handicapped by being pregnant. It's super hard to bend down; hard to get comfortable in bed; my tailbone hurts sometimes if I sit for too long; my feet hurt if I stand for too long (15 minutes can be too long!); and I have carpal tunnel in both hands. It could be a long 18 weeks! I have gained 23.5 lbs, which means I'm only about 2 pounds off my goal, which is to gain 1.5 lbs per week throughout the entire pregnancy! Luckily, ice cream is allowed on my diet. Ethel would be happy for me! :)
This week I've registered at the hospital, started looking for pediatricians, am narrowing down which triplet stroller is best, and I've sewed a table skirt for the new bookshelf/buffet in the dining room. Dave organized the garage and moved all the tools and suitcases out there - freeing up our hall closet for stroller storage.
Lots of preparation for these darling girls. Can't wait to meet them!
