Tonight Dave and I ordered furniture for the nursery! We ordered it in a white finish. We got a dresser wtih a hutch (hutch in second picture, white double dresser on the right).
We went to the store planning to buy a different dresser (only), but when we got there, we had sticker shock. Of course I had picked a super expensive dresser and we had forgotten how expensive it was. So, we looked around the store to see if there were other options, and found cribs AND a dresser that we liked! So we ordered 3 cribs, a dresser with hutch (which will be the changing station) and 3 mattresses.
We got the triplet discount (seriously - they had one) and saved 10% on the second crib and 15% on the third crib. Everything we got was on sale and as a bonus (they had a promotion) we got $89 towards each mattress. So, we upgraded to nice mattresses with lifetime guarantees! The furniture will take 12-14 weeks to arrive. After careful planning and choosing everything by browsing online and in stores, we wound up getting something totally different. The funniest part is that this furniture looks like the two pieces of furniture that hold our TVs! I guess we have a "style".
